Website privacy notice
How this website handles information, in plain language. Effective November 1, 2026.
This notice covers the Rosecare Behavioral Health website only. How the practice protects your health information as a patient is described in a different document, the HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which the practice provides to patients.
The short version
- This website is informational. It has no patient accounts, stores no medical records, and takes no payments.
- There is no form on this site; you reach the practice by phone or through the scheduling platform.
- Appointments, insurance, clinical forms, messages about your care, records, and payments happen on separate secure platforms that you choose to go to.
- The site sets no cookies and does not sell or share your information for advertising.
Scope
This notice applies to the pages at rosecarebehavioralhealth.com. It does not apply to the external services linked from the site — each has its own privacy terms, described below.
Information you choose to send us
Please do not send diagnoses, medication lists, symptoms, medical or psychiatric history, insurance or member numbers, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, payment details, or other sensitive information through this website. Share those at your appointment or through your patient platform.
Information collected automatically
Like every website, ours is delivered by a web hosting service. When your browser requests a page or image, the host's servers receive standard technical information — your IP address, the page requested, the time, the address of the page that linked you here (referrer), and your browser type — and keep it in server logs for a limited period for security and operations. This happens on every website and is not something we can switch off; we do not add anything to it.
Analytics and measurement
We use our web host's server-side analytics (Netlify Web Analytics). It works from the host's existing request logs rather than from code that runs in your browser: it does not set cookies, does not use JavaScript on our pages, and reports aggregate figures only — page views, counts of distinct visitors per day (derived from IP addresses), top pages, traffic sources, pages not found, and visitor locations by region. We also count a small, fixed set of actions so the practice can tell whether the website is working — for example, how many times the scheduling buttons, patient portal links, or phone number were selected, or how often the First Visit Checklist was printed. Each count is a fixed label with no personal information attached: nothing you type, no insurance, health, or appointment details, and no identifier for you. We do not use advertising or marketing trackers, remarketing pixels, session-replay or heat-map tools, cross-site tracking, or device fingerprinting, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
Cookies and browser storage
This website does not set cookies and does not store anything in your browser's local storage. If that ever changes — for example because a new feature needs it — this notice will say so and explain what the cookie is for before it is introduced. External platforms you choose to visit, such as the scheduling platforms or patient portals, set their own cookies to keep you signed in; those are governed by their notices.
Scheduling and patient platforms
The practice uses separate, specialised platforms for anything patient-specific, and this website only points you to them. When you select a scheduling or portal button you leave this website; the destination receives the address of the page you came from, as with any link, and everything you enter after that is entered on that platform under its privacy terms and the practice's agreement with it. This website does not see, store, or transmit what you enter there.
- No online scheduling platform is connected at the moment. The practice intends to use separate scheduling platforms (such as Tebra, and Headway for insurance-network booking); when one is enabled, this notice will describe it and the site will link to it — nothing on this website sends information to them today.
External links and embedded content
Pages may link to other organisations' websites (for example, the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, professional profiles, or the platforms above). We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Fonts, images, and scripts are served from this website itself; no third-party font or content-delivery service is contacted when a page loads.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS, uses a strict content-security policy that limits what can run on its pages to the exact services described here, and has no login, database, or stored patient information to protect. No website can guarantee absolute security, which is one more reason the site asks you not to send sensitive information through it.
Retention
The website itself retains nothing about you. Hosting server logs are retained by the host for a limited time for security and operations, and aggregate analytics are kept as summary statistics that do not identify you.
Children
This website is intended for adults. The practice sees adults and older adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 through this website; if you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We do not sell or share your information for advertising
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or for targeted advertising. We do not use advertising networks, social-media pixels, or similar technologies on this site, and we honour that commitment whether or not a particular state privacy law applies to the practice.
Your choices
You can use this site without sending us anything. You can block JavaScript or images in your browser and the site will still work. Requests about your health information itself — copies, corrections, restrictions — are handled under the HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, not this notice.
Changes to this notice
If the way this website handles information changes — for example if an analytics service, a form provider, or a new platform is added — this notice will be updated first and the date below will change. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
Questions about this notice
The practice's phone and email are being set up. As soon as they are in service, this section will list the address and number for questions about this notice.
